Conservatory Faculty
- EMMA BRAILOVSKY (Piano) received her training in the Ukraine and Russia. She has extensive teaching and performing experience, both in the Ukraine and in the U.S. Emma maintains a private studio and is a member of the South Jersey Music Teacher's Association and the National Guild of Piano Teachers.
- LAINE BRYCE (Piano and Bassoon) earned her BA in piano performance from the University of Minnesota where she taught while doing graduate work in music theory. She also taught at her own music school in Saint Paul. She is a free-lance bassoonist and a member of the Bay Atlantic Symphony. In 2005 she toured Spain as principal bassoon in the Atlantic Symphony.
- TOM CAVANAGH (Guitar) earned his BA from Michigan State University. He studied classical and jazz guitar at Joe Fava Studio in Detroit and jazz guitar with Dennis Sandole in Philadelphia. He has performed with Rodney Whitaker and Marcus Belgrave, both of the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra.
- TERESA D'AMICO (Voice) received her BM and Italian minor from Ithaca College and her MM degree from the University of Minnesota. She has also received a language certificate in Italian from Centro Studi Italiani in Urbania, Italy. She has sung with Ithaca College Opera Theater, Ithaca Opera, Oberlin in Italy, the University of Minnesota, Bel Canto Northwest, New Jersey Opera Theater, Chester County Opera Society and Center City Opera Theater. Teresa debuted at the Kimmel Center last April in Madama Butterfly with Center City Opera Theater. She currently has private teaching studios in Washington Township (Gloucester County) and Mount Laurel and also teaches for the Conservatory Without Walls in Moorestown.
- CHRISTINE DALSEY HANSEN (Flute) earned a BMusEd from Temple University, a MM degree from the University of Delaware and a DMA from Rutgers University. She has performed with the Delaware Symphony, Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, the Opera Company of Philadelphia and in master classes of Julius Baker and Jean- Pierre Rampal. She has taught at many public and private schools including Settlement Music School and Rowan University.
- MICHAEL IVEY (Percussion) earned certification at the Association of Musicians of Latin America (AMLA) music school. He is a rostered musician and educator for Musicopia (formerly Strings for Schools). His performance credits include The Philadelphia Chamber Chorus, The Coasters, and the theme songs for "Focus on Africa" (DUTV).
- AASIM JACKSON (Violin, Viola) graduated from Rowan University with a BM in Performance and received the "Delaware Valley Outstanding Musician Award." Aasim is a professional composer, orchestrator, arranger and producer whose principal instruments are viola and violin. He has studied viola with world renowned teacher Karen Tuttle and jazz viola with the dynamic jazz violinist John Blake. Asim was the featured violist on Paul Spencer Atkins (Luciano Pavarotti Competition winner)critically acclaimed album "How can I keep from singing." Aasim is currently composing classical pieces and classical/jazz hybrid pieces.
- PEDRO JIMENEZ (Guitar) earned his BA from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and is a candidate for a master's degree in music education at Penn State. He has taught classes for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the School District of Philadelphia and the Camden Youth Orchestra. He currently performs with Latin Fiesta in Philadelphia and nationwide.
- MEGUMU KAJINO (Violin) earned her MM from Temple with additional study at the Victoria Conservatory of Music in British Columbia. She has taught Suzuki at Temple and the Victoria Conservatory. Kajino has performed with Concerto Soloists Orchestra, Allentown Symphony Orchestra and Haddonfield Symphony, with a recent solo tour in Japan.
- LENKA LAZORIKOVA (Piano) earned a Bachelor's degree in music education and piano performance from the conservatory in Kosice, Czechoslovakia. Her postgraduate studies were at the University of Music and Arts in Bratislav, Czechoslivakia, and at Temple University, Philadelphia. She has 16 years professional experience in the field of teaching, performing and accompaniment. She has extensive experience in the Suzuki method. Some of her student annually attend the national Piano Guild Audition. Lenka maintains a private studio and is a member of the South Jersey Music Teachers Association, Suzuki Association of the Americas, National Guild of Piano Teachers and Music Teachers National Association.
- IRIS LELKES (Piano) earned her BM from the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv. She has more than 30 years of experience as a private piano teacher, accompanist and chamber musician.
- JOEY MARIANO (Guitar) earned his BM from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and has been teaching a mirad of guitar music privately for eight years. He studied jazz guitar with Vic Juris and electronic music with Charles Menoche. Known for his work with his jazz funk fusion group, Joey's guitar playing has been compared to jazz guitar legend John Scofield. Currently he performs with his jazz trio and solo with precomposed computer generated backgrounds.
- NICHOLAS MASTRIPOLITO (Piano) is a recitalist and accompanist who has performed at the Smithsonian Institution, Lincoln Center, the Academy of Music and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
- MIHAELA MATEI (Violin, Viola) earned a degree in music performance from Romania's National Academy of Music, studied music performance and education at Louisiana State University and earned a masters degree in musical performance from Rowan University. She has taught and performed in Romania and the United States.
- IRINA NENARTOVICH (Piano) earned a MM in composition from Rimsky-Korsakov Academy of State in Russia. She also obtained a BM in music education, composition and musicology. She has been teaching, performing and composing for over 20 years in New Jersey, Jerusalem and St. Petersburg. She is the author of two books for beginner piano students "Sounds from Different Lands" primer level & level 1. Irina plays piano and organ for the Episcopal Church in Beverly, NJ.
- INNA NIKOLIOUKINE (Piano) has her degree in music from Donetsk State Music College (Ukraine). She has extensive experience with the Suzuki method and choral conducting. Inna is the church choir director at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. George (Yardville, NJ). She has been teaching for over 20 years.
- AMY SHIMMIN PIKE (Flute & Recorder) earned a BA in flute performance from the Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts. Her background includes graduate study at the Kodaly Center of America, Westminster Choir College and Trenton State. Amy studied with John Wummer, Loren Lind, Joel Robinson and Edwin George. She has been teaching for over 15 years.
- BEVERLY PUGH-CORRY (Flute) studied at the Paris Conservatoire of Music, Academie International (Nice) and Indiana University. She has held teaching positions at Rutgers University and others. She is a founder and board member of the Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia and is President of Beverly's Pan Flutes. She has performed at Avery Fisher Hall and in Augsburg, Germany and with Bay Atlantic Symphony.
- SHEILA Z. SIEGEL (Piano) earned her BA from Wellesley College with postgraduate study at Glassboro State and Rutgers. She has taught in the Haddonfield School District and at Settlement Music School. Sheila studied with David Barnett, Veda Zuponcic and Seymour Bernstein. She is a member of the South Jersey Music Teachers Association.
- MARLON SIMON (Percussion) earned his BFA from the New School for Social Research (NYC). He has taught at Temple and Penn State Universities, Victoria College (Melbourne) and University of the Arts. He's been named Distinguished Teaching Artist by the NJ State Council on the Arts and received the Governepr's Award in Arts Education. He has release two CD's leading The Nagual Spirits.
- FRANK JAMES STANECK (Piano, Theory & Composition) earned his BA from West Chester University and his MM from Temple University. His original works have been premiered by The Philharmonic of Southern NJ, Greater South Jersey Chorus and West Jersey Chamber Music Society. He has performed at a variety of venues including Lincoln Center. Staneck teaches at Rutgers - Camden and is the USA Chairman of the Ralph Vaughan Williams Society.
- MICHAEL WESSNER (Guitar) earned a BM in music performance from Rowan University. He has taught jazz, classical and rock guitar at New Jersey School of Music, where he was director of the jazz and classical guitar ensembles.
